Movie that came out before 2013

Forgive me if some details are off as I was little when I seen it. But I remember being really scared of this movie when I was a kid that my siblings were watching. I think they watched somewhere in the late 2000s early 2010s?

I know the movie ends on a cliffhanger with the “monster” dropping from a tree in the background behind the protagonist. The monster looked kinda vampire-esque and pale. Bald.

I think the movie is set at a secluded house. I could but wrong but I think people turn into the monsters and one of the protagonists turns into one. I remember there was a scene where the protagonist and his daughter (maybe) are hiding in the house from the antagonist an I think there’s a shot of them seeing its shadow move under the door they’re hiding behind.

Sorry if this isn’t enough information I watched it a long time ago and i didn’t really pay a lot of attention to it I just thought the ending was interesting and scary
