Obsession With Byproducts.
Money should be the byproduct of doing something useful.
A nice body should be the byproduct of a healthy lifestyle.
Fame should be the byproduct of doing something spectacular.
Yet most people chase money without considering being useful.
People take all sorts of steroids, weird hormonal concoctions, starve themselves, cut their stomachs in half to attain a "nice body" instead of asking "How can I be healthier" and let the physique naturally follow.
People do all sorts of stupid, pointless sh**, sell their souls to attain fame, instead of trying to do something extraordinary, and letting fame naturally follow.
People who chase byproducts end up manic, unhappy and never feel fulfilled. People who attain byproducts as a byproduct of a good life often don't even care about the money, or the fame, or the body. The byproduct is a manifestation of their value, it is not what they base their value upon.
