3rd mcat retake advice

Question 🤔🤔

hi, i just took my second mcat retake in september and got a 501 (124/124/125/128) my original score from my first mcat was 500 in aug 2024 (125/125/124/126). my breakdown this time was similar to before and i still feel like timing in C/P and B/B is killing me, especially with the math/calculations. i also struggle with taking efficient notes during BB passages i either focus too much on understanding everything and run out of time or rush and don’t really absorb anything. the first time i used uglobe, kaplan books, miles down anki and aamc. the second time i did the bp 515+ course which i stopped using in the middle of my studying because i didn’t feel like it was helping as well as all the aamc material, uglobe, and the jack sparrow anki deck.

i’ve done all of the aamc material and section banks. i plan on taking my 3rd retake around july but i’m not registering until i feel more solid and confident. i know i can do better i just need a better system, better strategy, and someone to help me really understand how aamc thinks. it’s not even always content gaps, i just feel like i don’t think the way they want me to.

if anyone has advice for breaking past that 500–503 plateau or if a specific tutor/course helped you improve timing, math, and overall approach, i’d really appreciate it. i’m ready to lock in again but i don’t want to waste more time doing what hasn’t been working.
