Can I re-enter Canada with an expired work permit and a valid TRV?

My work permit expired in 2023, but my TRV is valid until 2028. Since then, I’ve returned home and now plan to visit my brother who lives in Toronto. I’m planning to stay for two months, with return tickets booked and enough funds for my stay. Will I be sent back since my TRV was issued while I was on a work permit in Canada, or are the work permit and TRV two separate documents? Will I be sent back?
