[KCD2] Don't like the side I have to play

I didn't play KCD1 and don't know the lore - but so far (midgame) my faction is unlikable at all.
Probably I missed something in the plot.

!Why are Henry and Capon constantly talking sh1t about von Bergow? He didn't do anything bad to them?!<

!- von Bergow: Truly cares about his land. Openly expresses desire for peace. Doesn't do anything unnecessary.!<
!- Sigismund: Tries to handle civil war while keeping Turks from invasion. Has allies with important forces.!<
!- Istvan Toth: Complicated bloke - yet has his controversial motives.!<

!- Zizka: Literally warmonger - main source of the violence in the region. !<
!Very weak justification siding with him. (pls don't be offended, I'm talking about the game)!<
!- Henry & Capon: extremely lucky naive fools.!<
!- Katherine: childish bratty teenager.!<
!- Godwin: alcoholic pseudo-intellectual.!<
