Audio Problem

Hello Everybody,

I have stumbled upon a trouble with my audioinput. I have used some headphones for several years years with a uilt in microphone witch always worked. Then about last week the input suddenly just stopped working so I thought its the headphones since they are already pretty old, so I bought a new pair from my local pc shop also with a built in microphone and the problem is still there. I already tried many things like deinstalling the audio drivers, looking through my setting if they were anywhere muted or something like that but no. When I plugg them into my Pc I there isnt even an option for headphones. I really dont know what to try next. Can anybody help me with this problem?
