How do you manage thousands of saved posts on Instagram over the years?
For marketers and power users, the “Save” feature on Instagram quickly becomes a mess.
I’ve been saving content for years: ads, creatives, hooks, UGC examples, funnels, ideas. When saved posts were first introduced, collections didn’t exist yet, so everything was saved without structure.
Now this creates a serious problem: older saved posts that are not in any collection are nearly impossible to find.
Main limitations:
- No sorting (oldest → newest, newest → oldest, by date saved)
- No time-based filters (year/month)
- Infinite scroll only
- Mobile browsing is extremely slow
- Desktop reload resets scroll position
Saved posts could be a powerful internal content library for marketing teams. Instead, they turn into an unsearchable archive.
How do you deal with this? Do you use any external tools, spreadsheets, or manual systems? Or do you just accept that old saved content is basically lost?
