My friend can't join to my garden neither me to his garden

My friend can't see any panel related to that bloody program the game makes you install (EA App) to execute it, everything appears blank (even the shift+F3 panel), that is the same app that reigns over the ability to invite friends to your garden (because you need to be friends through EA App to invite), so if the crap I mean app doesn't work, you can't play with your friends, does anyone happen to know the solution to this problem? He has W11 and bought the game on Steam.
