Hi all. I read the content creator guidelines and have posted and commented here before, so I would like to promote a channel I've recently created.

For a long time I have wanted to start a YouTube channel that records the sounds and sights of World of Warcraft in an exploratory, observing way, not isolated from the game but in the world itself, with other players going about their business. A channel that documents what it is like to be in this living world, noticing the ambience, the music, the sound effects and the beautiful landscapes of Azeroth and the people populating it.

There are of course many channels that are similar, like Everness and Meisio, and countless smaller channels, that all make beautiful videos of the sounds of World of Warcraft as well. Most of these videos, however, take an approach where you are not really in the world itself (as in, an active server with players), but simply listening to its music or its ambient sounds while hovering through the zones.

Like I mentioned before, what I'm trying to do is document a living world, focused on non-combat exploration. This means walking, running and riding through zones together with other players actively running around, learning skills, crafting items, starting and ending quests, fighting monsters, riding their mounts, and the sounds that go along with it. And sometimes it means sitting in one place for a while, just taking in that beautiful world of Azeroth.

There are other channels that also record from the game itself, but from what I've been able to find the videos are often very short, very static (which also has its pros and I do plan to do more static content as well), and scattered in between random videos of other games, or there's only a dozen videos of always the same few zones and then the channel stopped uploading. But most of all, the world in those videos is often very empty. It feels dead. Hence my idea for this channel.

My aim is to cover at least some part of every zone in Classic WoW first. This means Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, but soon also the zones of the Burning Crusade, with the re-re-release of that expansion. From there, I plan to also cover the zones in Retail and Cata/MoP.

Since I have just started, I realize the videos are far from perfect, but I hope to improve over time.
