Season 3 discussion

This is probably beating the dead horse lol(is that the right phase?)

Demi: I guess as someone who’s been assaulted and just about everything else under the sexual abuse umbrella it’s so odd to me that in the reunion she took that time to speak on her assault when the girls and Conner were speaking on their stories. It honestly felt more like a “but no one believed me!” Then something sincere and empathetic. I genuinely understand speaking to him and keeping him content after what happened but the fact her daughter was involved and she was sharing pictures of her daughter with him is kinda insane. Which would genuinely make me believe that it was BS.

Bret needs to find friends his own age but that probably won’t happen given his wife is so much younger lol.

Jessi: If her husband is able to speak to her on camera like that I can only imagine what he says and how he speaks to her off camera - similar to what we saw with Jen and Zac in season one. I feel for her, she’s got a lot of healing to do within herself let alone her marriage and I don’t think she gets given the grace she deserves in that space.

Whitney: Love her outside of SLOMW but in the group it’s kinda iffy. She puts up walls and boundaries to protect herself and they end up collapsing on her because I think she’s not a mean girl at heart. I think she genuinely just wants/wanted a supportive loving group and she hasn’t found that
