Anyone else get hit on all the time? Do you always !tell your spouse?
Background is I (35f) don’t consider myself “hot” or anything, but I do have a prettyish face and okay body. I’m slim with a bit of curves like I have a butt/hips, no boobs and I workout. I get called a “young mom” a lot so I think I might look younger than my age. I also got asked out by a 19 year old recently so 🤢! I get complimented on my eyes, smile and hair the most. I used to model but just local stuff and that was in my teens/early 20’s and I’ve had three kids since then.
Now I get asked out almost EVERY TIME I go out by myself. I’ve had men open new registers and call me over from a line of people when I wasn’t even at the front, I’ve had a few male and one female baristas write their number on my cup, I often get free coffee or free things before being asked out, I had a guy carry my groceries across an entire Costco parking lot to my car before asking me out, I get approached at the gym... You get the idea. I don’t even go out that much by myself a ton as I’m always with my kids! I have been asked out like twice when I was with my kids too which is crazy to me since I was wearing my wedding ring and everything.
What do you guys/girls do in this situation? Would you tell your spouse? I’ve shared funny or awkward stories of being asked out with him, maybe once a month. It feels like I’m lying when I get back from somewhere and he asks me how my morning was or how I went at the gym and I don’t share I got hit on again because it seems excessive. He’s incredibly secure and he trusts me completely (I would never do anything) but I also don’t want to make him feel uncomfortable.
