Cherry and sapele as contrasting woods

Was looking at some wood species to combine with cherry to get a more unique look in a bedroom set I’m about to build. I found some examples of cherry combined with sapele in r/woodworking and thought the pieces looked really cool when they are new. Was wondering how it would look after a long period of time as the cherry darkens. Anyone have any experience or examples? Or, any examples of other species combined with cherry?
