Got scammed by Coverly.in

Pata hai aaj kya hua? While I was scrolling Instagram an ad pops up which says that on a sale I could get a leather back cover for only 99/- when I visited the website and added two covers, it only charged me 99 as the second cover was free. I went ahead and ordered as it seemed like a legit website. A legit payment gateway and a legit checkout mechanism. The only concern I felt was there was no COD. But, then I thought maybe its only 99 that’s why they are not allowing COD. I just went ahead and ordered, got the confirmation mail from this mail - sarukhsingh9220@gmail.com.

For a week, I did not get any further information of tracking the order. Today, I went ahead and checked their website www.coverly.net.in

Which btw is not working anymore, their Instagram page has 0 followers. I don’t know if anything can be done and the fact that its 99Rs. But, not sure how many people fall for this. Any tips on how to not fall for this again :)
