Some Questions on Photography in Sri Lanka

Question

I'm a newbie photographer, who has been personally taking photos and posting them on Instagram as a hobby and have some questions regarding this.

I want to try/experiment with street photography, but I also read that sometimes permission to be photographed is not the same as permission to be published. How does this work in here? do people care about being posted on Instagram? how intimate could a photo go before it's seen as going too far?

What are the laws regarding photography here? how does consent work about being photographed in public?

I recently took some photos of a house damaged by landslide from the road (the walls are entirely gone and everything is visible from the road). Is it unethical/wrong for me to post these photos?

I understand that some of these questions might feel like it's better asked on photography related subreddit but I'm looking for perspective from Sri Lankans and how things work here as culture/laws are much different than other countries.
