Night 3 on CPAP. Bad Aerophagia and mouth blown open at pressure
Hello! Just getting started and first couple of nights were pretty good I think, but last night around 5am I found my mask was leaking terribly and I awoke with painful bloating. I nixed the mask out of fear of more pain, but my snoring wouldn't let me sleep, so once my bloating went down, I put the mask back on and tried again. Once pressure went back up to 11ish my mouth was constantly blowing open, waking me up. Not a good night :(
I'm wondering if I could get some advice on a) possible causes of the aerophagia and b) what I can do about my mouth blowing open over pressure 11-12 (I'm not usually a mouth breather, just at this level of pressure). I'm worried that reducing pressure this early in my trials will just be making my therapy ineffective. On the other hand, keeping this pressure high seems to be causing a whole lot of other problems.
Mask: AirTouch n30i Nasal
CPAP: AirSence 10 Autoset

Pressure Range 6-16
