Taking Bactrim for possible uti and have anxiety about Steven Johnson Syndrome.

I'm on day 3 out 5 on the antibiotics. And I thought reaction like that happens right away. But I read, it happens 1-4 weeks after stopping them.

Is it normal for them to prescribe antibiotics, with out conforming with pee test 1st? Can you have uti without a positive pee test?

Maybe I have regret taking these, I've been having incontinence, not being able to empty bladder, pain when it feels like I can't empty, pelvis pain, overactive bladder/frequent urge.

Idk if those are symptoms of uti. So maybe they thought of UTI as the first line treatment.
