I don’t like how Mr. Beast frames the people who lose in his videos. There’s something misleading about constantly emphasizing how many millions someone “lost,” when that’s not really how it works.

If you lose a competition, you didn’t actually lose $5 million, you just didn’t win it. By that logic, entering the lottery every week would mean I’m “losing millions” all the time, which obviously isn’t true. Framing it this way feels deceptive and unnecessarily toxic.
