Solo/multiplayer games that fit my needs?

Hello,

I am interested in getting a multiplayer board game that also plays well solo, without it feeling like some tacked on feature. Preferably a game that has good depth, complexity and replayability, without the game feeling slow in solo clunkiness or requiring lots of admin. Simply a game that feels big whilst also smooth to play.

Games I play and really like are Nemesis, Star Wars: Outer Rim (+expansion), Dune Imperium Uprising and Gaia Project. I have previously played Tamashii: Chronicles of Ascend, and whilst I liked the teeming, the gameplay felt clunky, and the combat was not enjoyable at all. As you see I love the sci-fi theme, and whilst I prefer playing games with this theme, I am open to any suggestion.
