Suggestions for home wedding

I am getting married in December. I have a 3bhk home surrouded by 3 plots each of size 2400 sqft. Thinking of having wedding at home. Anyone had weddign in their home ??? Any suggestions ? Was it too stressful ?or initmate and beautiful..Any suggestions welcome
