Should I buy EoTech Bino Nv-C

Howdy. I am very new here, so please go easy on me.

I have the opportunity to buy a set of EoTech Bino Nv-C for roughly $5k. I honestly don't know if this is worth it or if I should go the more traditional custom builder route with some Elbits or L3s and be in it for $8-9k. The EoTech Bino NV-C are use a Theon housing with a set of Photonis 4G tubes, guaranteed at 2000 FOM. This comes with a Wilcox mount and Team Wendy helmet. This guy doesn't have a spec sheet for them. Just not sure if the proprietary funky nature of these is going to be a huge PITA. This is my first time buying NVGs and I'm pretty on the fence with this setup. Any thoughts?
