When should I stop using hashtags in my shorts?

Hey just curious, has anyone stopped using hashtags in their shorts titles when they hit a certain level of growth? I am a small creator (2.5k subs) and hashtags help most of the time, but sometimes it seems to harm the video. Thanks!
