AITAH for yelling at a coworker for assuming I was pregnant even though it turned out to be true

I was recently reminded of a past professional experience while viewing a Smosh video featuring Shayne reading Reddit stories. This occurred a few years ago, but from 2016, I held a management position at McDonald's.

. During that time, I would work in every area of the restaurant that I was needed. One day, I was working the food line when a girl who was supposed to be on the front register walked past me and poked my belly, saying,

"You're about eight months pregnant, right?"

The unexpected nature of the event prevented an immediate response. Given our operational commitments, a direct confrontation at that moment was not feasible.

Following the conclusion of the peak period, I proceeded to the restroom. It was there that I encountered the individual and addressed the situation. Initially, I had no intention of speaking, but after she made an additional comment accompanied by laughter, I felt compelled to respond. I then instructed her to refrain from physical contact in the future.

Several weeks later, I was admitted to the hospital due to experiencing severe lower abdominal pain.

It was at this point that I discovered I was not only six months pregnant but also in active labor.

Following the birth of my daughter, I returned to work approximately one week later. While I was on break, seated in the lobby, a colleague who was cleaning the area approached me and inquired, "Are you going to apologize?"

I questioned the necessity of an apology, to which she responded that my pregnant state at the time of her inquiry, coupled with my abrupt reaction, warranted one.

I told her no I didn't owe her an apology that it didn't matter that I was pregnant. She still had no right to touch me. She needed to keep her hands to herself.

Should I have apologized then just wondering
