What happens to dead HC anniversary characters that didnt transfer to anniversary normal realms now?

Hello,

I am a wow HC classic player. Now that dead character transfers have ended because of the TBC prepatch, I was wondering if I will be able to transfer my character from anniversary hc to a normal classic era server after the the TBC prepatch? Before the update, I was able to transfer my character from soulseeker to thunderstrike then to a classic era server but I just read an article on wowhead that states that anniversary character transfers will no longer be possible after the tbc prepatch.

I've grown attached to this character and I had plans to transfer it over to a normal realm after it dies on hc. I was wondering if anyone has any information on this.
