Background Issues

Beginner

Hello ive been trying to get into animation but the biggest challenge for me is backgrounds. I don't have the skill to draw what I want/cant afford to pay an artist so I feel like my only solution is to use a website like storyblocks or adobe stock photos & use pictures as the backgrounds. is this generally seen as a ok route for somewone in my position? I see some animators on youtube like for example"Burdy" do this. If i had the time to learn i would but given i have a 9-5 plus other family time & my wife i refuse to ignore if i really wanted to learn how to draw i could but itd likely take me multiple years that I would frankly rather use to sharpen my adobe character animator/editing skills or my story telling skills. I was thinking of using some video game generic scenes like a barn from red dead redemption for the background for a video's scene or maybe the tavern bar from the Witcher 3 & just crop out geralt/visemir. Constructive advice would be appreciated 😁
