Gays supporting palestine and supporting iranian/persians protesters?

I have a gay friend who supports palestine and now he's supporting Persians. Palestine is an islamic state with sharia law and islamic regime. Persians are fighting islamic dictatorship.

Supporting both does not make sense to me. Youre either against islamic dictatorship or not. If you dont support it how else would you get rid of it without blood shed. Dictators would have to be forced out. So if he supports Persian protesters. Then why is he against israel? Israel and iranian protesters are fighting the same islamic terrorism.

Why would you support Persians but condemn Israel? How else would you fight islamic terrorists？
