My fiancé bought another gun

He said it was for me but then said he can keep it on him or in his car. For his protection. I get it, I do, with how everyone is now in the world especially here in the states. I was recently followed out to my car, told to show my identification to prove I wasn’t an illegal. The whole thing scared me & I’m still afraid to go out but power through it because I have to.

I’m frustrated, scared but I’m not comfortable having them in the house, even though they’re under lock & key. My own mental issues have been so bad that I don’t trust myself & I’ve told him that. He has his own struggles & I worry he would do something as well.

We’re not speaking to each other after I didn’t praise him for making this purchase. He will sulk until I apologize to him but I don’t think I will this time, we can agree to disagree & me not liking having these items in the house may make me sound like a wuss but I don’t care.
