Gearbox locking up issue

Hey all so I have a g&g v2 gearbox I've been working on and I wanted to put new parts in it but I didnt think to test a couple parts at a time so at this point im struggling to figure out what's wrong. I put a Gate Titan II in and it wouldn't fire at all even with cycle detection turned off. If I got it to move at all, the piston would get to around the cylinder port hole and everything would jam. Then, while troubleshooting, my Titan II broke. The only thing my closest store had was a Gate Aster II so I picked it up due to time constraints. The Aster II with cycle detection turned off will allow it to cycle a few times but ultimately the gearbox locks up in the same position as with the Titan. I assembled the gearbox without the ​spring manually cycling it didn't bind as far as I can tell.

The original trigger contacts I had to steal the wiring from so I cant put it back in to test if its purely a mechanical issue. I replaced various parts with the stock parts I had and bought new 13:1 gears with hopes that would have an effect, but no dice. Im 2 days and an embarrassing amount of money into this and its only making me more frustrated. Willing to send pictures or anything that would help.
