CHP Academy/Career

I currently work for the State but am looking for a career change. I’ve always been interested and felt a calling toward military or law enforcement as a career and am applying for the CHP academy. My question is: am I too old? I’m currently 35, so obviously at the older end of the age range. I have no concerns about my physical fitness. I run marathons, do CrossFit, can still run a 6:00 mile, 20 pullups, 50 pushups at a time. But curious what advice ya’ll who have experience might think.
