Original build below this message. The only things added were the 9070 xt and 2 pcie power cables to the build. The original build worked fine so it’s not the other parts that are the issues I think? I think it has to be the cables but I have no idea..
So the gpu and cables were installed. After 30 minutes boot it made a really loud robotic sound (link 1). Then it changed to the sound in the video after a minute (link 2). I was watching YouTube while eating during the time. I turned pc off and booted again. It was fine the next few hours until I went to bed.
Next day: PC was on playing games for 7 hours no issues. I went to eat, the PC was making the loud noise again. This time it lasted around a minute and stopped on its own so no restart was required. It sounded like a very loud whistle this time. Ironically it happened when I was eating too. No video recorded for it
It has to be the bulky cables added no? The GPU is so much bigger than the 9060xt but this case should handle it no problems. It has to be the cables? Maybe the gpu or cables is hitting the fans? I'm not sure. What I can possibly theorize is either the cpu fans hitting the cable, issue with the bracket, or something else. It happens so rarely at the moment but it's so scary to me.
