Is Outlander Claw a useable detachment?

Hey folks, I got into GSC cause of the awesome looking vehicles, so naturally my first detachment I went to was Outlander Claw. However, while doing research, it didn’t seem like many people found the vehicles and mounted units good, with the exception of Achilles. That said, is Outlander Claw playable? I’m really hoping it’s at least decent, cause I don’t want to have a terrible time playing. I’m really big on the Rockgrinder especially, I want to run at least one for sure. Also, if anybody has tips on how to build a list, that would be much appreciated, because I’m still learning what’s good to stick in transports. Thanks folks!
