When did Kes become such a hardcore Mormon?

ive been watching their old vlogs and realizing just how different kesley is. i mean obviously she’s older and wanting different things but she had such a laid back childhood (for the most part) her parents weren’t super strict as far as i could tell so i’m a little confused on how she developed this boring mormon stay at home wife persona where she puts all these rules and regulations on herself. i always thought she’d go a different route considering her personality and what she does for a living but maybe the mission changed her? or maybe i just haven’t noticed all this time and maybe this was always her destiny lol. i’ve always assumed they’d get married young but i just never expected her to have this boring life where her main personality is being a wife. they had SUCH a fun childhood all the collabs and trios they went on im so surprised they don’t get out more …
