Bitzero Holdings Inc. (BITZ.U) Partners with CBRE & Hydra Host to Commercialize 200MW Kokemäki, Finland AI/HPC Data Center Capacity, Targeting Hyperscalers and Near-Term GPU Monetization
Posted on behalf of Bitzero Holdings Inc. - Today, Bitzero Holdings Inc. (CSE: BITZ.U) announced that it has entered into strategic partnerships with CBRE and Hydra Host to commercialize AI-ready data centre capacity at its Kokemäki, Finland and Namsskogan, Norway sites.
This dual-track approach is designed to position its low-carbon gigawatt potential capacity in front of both major hyperscale customers and emerging AI-focused tenants, offering a mix of long-term dedicated capacity and quicker-deploy GPU capacity to drive utilization and revenue.
CBRE will provide advisory and brokerage services focused on marketing the Finland site to prospective tenants and partners, specifically targeting hyperscale customers seeking capacity for AI and other high-performance computing workloads.
The power for the Finland site is scheduled to go live in Q1 2027, and the company has started engaging an engineering firm to support pre-design work for the first 200MW of development.
Bitzero’s President and CEO Mohammed Bakhashwain said the CBRE partnership supports the company’s growth strategy by helping “anchor tenants” secure capacity while also leveraging CBRE’s global reach to “maximize the value of our assets during the prime growth stage of the AI era.”
In parallel, Bitzero is partnering with Hydra Host to accelerate the deployment, operation, and monetization of GPU capacity through Hydra’s GPU-as-a-service model.
Hydra’s Brokkr platform provides turnkey GPU lifecycle enablement, including management, monitoring, and monetization, while giving customers access to Bitzero resources globally through a unified API.
With this, Bitzero can expand beyond traditional hyperscale leasing and pursue multiple monetization strategies across Hydra’s customer base, with the Brokkr operations layer intended to support faster onboarding and utilization.
Hydra Host CEO and co-founder Aaron Ginn said Bitzero provides the scale, distribution, and “asset-light” operating model Hydra’s international AI factory customers require.
Hydra expects to integrate Bitzero’s “low-carbon compute” into its global GPU platform to provide decentralized access and diversified capacity.
With European data centre vacancy rates expected to remain below 10%—and pricing projected to rise by 10% or more in some markets—Bitzero’s strategy of pairing CBRE’s hyperscale reach with Hydra Host’s rapid GPU deployment platform is aimed at capturing demand across both long-term leasing and near-term AI compute channels.
