what’s actually the best eor for Germany?

i keep seeing the same names come up every time someone asks about hiring in germany. deel. remote. papaya. workmotion. multiplier. but the more i dig, the more confused i get. germany isn’t like hiring in the us or uk. apparently eor = employee leasing, there are licensing rules, time limits, and a lot of ways to screw this up if the provider isn’t legit locally. some people swear by Deel because it’s fast and easy. others say Remote is safer on compliance. then there’s WorkMotion, which is actually germany based and supposedly understands the labor law better. problem is… everyone sounds confident. sales pages all say the same thing. reviews are vague. so i’m curious to know if you’ve actually hired in germany via an eor, which provider did you use and would you use them again?
