Understanding used motorcycle prices

Having passed my mod 2 in April '25, I haven't yet bought a bike.
I wish to in 2026.

I have come across some good deals - so good that feel suspicious.

For example, a 2024 Tracer 7 GT with only 756 miles, all 3 keys present and first MOT not due until March 2027, for 7,899. A brand new 2025 (couldn't find 2024 model on Yamaha's website) Tracer 7 GT in the same colour is 10,204.

Another one, 2024 Pan America 1250 Special with 3,487 miles, first MOT not due until March 2027, for 10,499. Same bike, brand new 2025 (couldn't find 2024 model on HD's website) model is 17,295.

2024 Street Triple RS with only 3,281 miles, first MOT not due until June 2027. A new Street Triple RS is 11,995.

Is this normal? Do motorbikes lose their value so quickly?
