HR certifications

Hi everyone,

I graduated from a Canadian university in 2021 with a BAA in Human Resources Management. I then worked for one year as a Health and Safety Prevention Officer in a hospital. I left that role and spent the next two years at an insurance company in a position unrelated to HR. (That job offered more flexibility to be with my husband who lives in the USA)

I have now been unemployed for 1.5 years. I am moving soon to Northern Virginia to join my husband and want certifications to build knowledge of U.S. HR regulations and refresh my HR skills, as I haven’t applied much of my degree since graduating.

What online training programs can help me land an HR job and update my HR knowledge?
