Microsoft SWE AI/ML vs. Jane Street AMP Teaching Assistant

This might be a stupid comparison, but I'm only a freshman so I have plenty of time to do "real" internships later on. My goal down the road is to recruit for quant trading or quant research, so the argument for AMP TA is that it's much shorter (6 weeks vs. 12) and I'd assume the exposure is nonnegligible. With that out of the way, here are the details:

Microsoft:

- Redmond WA, Microsoft AI Copilot team

- ~50/hour, 12 weeks + corporate housing

- FYI this is NOT Explore. I was ghosted by explore but somehow got interviews for a normal internship, so here we are. C'est la vie.

Jane Street:

- NYC, AMP Math Teaching Assistant

- 15k stipend for 6 weeks (62.5/hour)
