need help with nzxt f120 rgb core fan rgb connection

I'm sorry if i sound like a noob , i have this single nzxt f120rgb core fan that i wanna install on my nzxt h9 elite case , i have 9 fans already installed using the controller that comes with the case and an extra controller that came with the 3 fans pack , i used all of their rgb connections , my question is , can i use this single fan and connect the rgb cable to my motherboard ? i have the z790 gigabyte aorus elite ax
or must i buy a controller on its own so i can get the rgb to work ?
