Frustration

I think I understand true frustration now like never before. Justin built in the checkpoint to fix that but what if you have no meaningful progress at all. Then you're not supposed to be a hunter, right? I haven't had a meaningful W yet to my knowledge. To have something you think about and work on 24/7 not be fruitful has to be the definition of insanity. I can only imagine what it must be like to be smart like Justin and know you are in the right spot because you actually solved the clues and still not be truly sure. I have spent tons of time on this. I am not complaining AT ALL, I am making the case that this maybe isn't meant for me. This was made for intellectuals who have faith in what they know. For someone like me to think that I might be able to solve this with the little knowledge that I have seems absolutely ludicrous. I have spent two days pouring over the clock and safe times and coming up with complete nonsense. I know that everyone feels this way to some extent or other at times. I will take a break from one category to try another lead I think may pan out but nothing. I really don't know where to go from here. I am too stubborn to quit, but maybe it is getting close to time to reevaluate what I hope to get out of this. I really wanted to find the treasure, not in a greedy, scummy way. But in a, that would be the coolest thing to happen to someone like me kind of way. I watch the G&G series and see the craziness of the Hursts now and cringe. It was never my intention to compare myself to them in that light. I just thought it would be cool if a normal person was the finder. Would a million dollars be life changing? Of course, anyone who says it wouldn't be is not being honest. But the fact is I am a worker bee. Probably will always be a worker bee. Worker bees get by one way or another.

I had a lot of fun during this past 9+ months. Like I said I don't/won't quit but I think that I am not equipped to solve this thing. There are plenty of others who are. I see them every day on Reddit the ones who would know if they had a solve. Let alone if they knew the ending. This was wasted on me unfortunately. I won the lottery and lost the ticket way back in grade school when I had a chance to pay attention and learn.

I keep waiting for something to click into place. When I was BOTG and staring at aspens (silent flight) I remember thinking it's got to be like those 3d pictures they had in the 90's. If I could just see the underlying picture, it would all workout. Then I remembered staring at those damn things for hours and never seeing the picture.

I truly don't know if I am too close to everything, or too dumb, or just looking in the wrong areas but I am off on just about all sides.

The last thing I have is to grid search. That's it. I can walk down the creek looking for shit. I mean that's how this started for me maybe that's how it finishes. Maybe I can be around when the finder gets it and can be a small part of it that way. I don't know. The final idea I have had is that it's right there at the gate. Across the creek so everyone who drives by could pass it. I think Justin would get a kick out of that. However, I doubt that he would want that to be his final resting place, so... If I do start grid searching again, I think that is where I'll start. Worthless metal detector and all.

Now that I have typed this all up I realize I in no way shape or form can post this. I will either have to sit on it and hope the feeling of today are gone tomorrow. Or send it to Mr. Posey himself. It would be just so he has an idea of where I am at. Someone thought that he might be looking for an ending to this and I am sure he 1. doesn't care 2. could find someone who could solve this thing Lickety split. I just don't see me getting it done anytime soon. I am working hard at it every day and every night. I just don't think I am good enough.
