hipster noir set in Los Angeles

Discussion: It's a hipster noir set in Los Angeles. Two low lifes, one of whom is sleeping with the mafia boss's girl, try to pull off some jobs, end up at the dog races and get shot, whereupon one asks, "Am I wearing my boots?" and the camera pans down to reveal sneakers.
