USPS held for collection - BUT WHERE?
I ordered a small sofa table from Amazon and for whatever reason they assigned USPS to deliver it. I was surprised because while the item is not crazy heavy or large, our mail carrier walks most of his route (at least in my neighborhood) so I was kinda shocked the post office accepted the request to deliver. I got the email that it was out for delivery at 6:54 AM. I work from home so I heard the mailman come by around 2:30 PM and lo and behold there was no package. I pull up the tracking info and it was updated at 9:02 AM with *Held at Post Office at customer request*. I very much did not make this request and no note or anything was left in our mail box. I don’t even know what post office I’m supposed to go to in order to pick it up?
From what I’ve gathered from this subreddit it’s likely the package didn’t make it on the truck in the morning so this is just what they do because there has to be some sort of update to the tracking in their system. My question is will this potentially be delivered tomorrow and if not how in the world am I supposed to figure out where to go to get it?
