How do I disable Vibrant Visuals on PC bedrock edition?

I downloaded Bedrock edition on my laptop to play with some people on consoles. I tried to disable vibrant visuals, as it runs pretty badly, and there's no way of disabling it. The button to change graphics mode is just greyed out.

I haven't used bedrock in years and never on a PC. Is there something I can do to fix this? Surely it can't be forced on for all PC players.

Also while I'm here, is there some way of enabling the f3 menu, or at least an fps counter?
