New CNA in training!
Hey yall! I just started work about 3 weeks ago as a Nursing Assistant Trainee- a new role at the hospital I work at where I work office hours until Clinicals start, and then my Clinicals are done on the clock. I work two 12s a week and have 2 8hour classes a week and get paid to study at work, I’m EXTREMELY lucky and have only had one CNA shadow shift but I’m terrified. There’s so many questions to ask and discussions to had and I don’t know ANYTHING!
Not a single person has told me yet that this job will be “worth it” and everyone says that I’m going to be miserable. This is what I want to do though and I’m having a BLAST asking questions at school and doing labs. Eventually I’m going to be a student under a CNA and I know that nurses tend to hate having students assigned to them. Any advice?
