Free tool for checking WCAG 2.1 AA compliance - feedback welcome

Hi everyone,

I built a free accessibility scanner at tryinclusiv.com that checks websites against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. Would love feedback from this community.

**What it does:**

  • Scans any URL in about 30 seconds
  • Shows an accessibility score (0-100)
  • Identifies specific issues with WCAG references
  • Detects the platform (WordPress, Shopify, React, etc.)
  • Suggests fixes tailored to your tech stack

**Why I built it:** With the EAA deadline passed and ADA lawsuits continuing to grow, I noticed many businesses don't know where they stand. I wanted to make accessibility testing more approachable for non-technical teams.

**Some findings from scanning major brands:**

  • Many fashion e-commerce sites score under 50
  • Most common issues: missing form labels, poor color contrast, missing alt text
  • Checkout flows are consistently the weakest point

I'd really appreciate feedback on:

  1. Is the scoring methodology reasonable?
  2. Are the fix suggestions clear and actionable?
  3. What features would be most valuable to add?

The goal is to help more businesses become accessible. Any input from this community would be hugely valuable.

Thanks!
