14 Years post L5/S1 MD
Can't believe its been 14 years. Before I had the MD I was admitted to the hospital and put on morphine to control the pain and the surgery was a success. The severe leg pain was gone but the doc warned me I'd be seeing a surgeon again someday and over the years I have continued to have back issues but just not as severe. Over the past few months I've been getting a lot more radiculopathy down my left leg primarily and some down the right. Lots of numbness in my left foot. Have not gotten the formal report yet but they gave me a copy of the CD. The disc is looking pretty sad. We'll see what options the docs come up with. I just know I do not want a fusion. I have seen too many people really start degrading after going down that route.
