Is McGill considered an elite school? How is its prestige perceived?

I’m considering applying to McGill and wanted to understand the global public perception of the university.

Is McGill viewed as an elite / highly prestigious institution internationally, or is its reputation mainly strong within North America?

I’d love honest insight on:

•	Overall prestige compared to top global universities

•	Typical career outcomes and opportunities after graduation

Would really appreciate your opinions. Thanks!
