Toe Fungus (Onychomycosis) - C&P Exam
Hello All,
Had a recent toe fungus C&P exam for Onychomycosis, and the C&P results states; "Dermatophytosis <5%" for total body area.
Based on our conversation, the examiner stated the below.
The examiner was not only friendly, but also very professional, and seemed to get what the VA raters don't. I am concerned though how the examiner used the words; "He does not like to walk", because I never used the word "like", but it's all good. As this is under functional impact, what's ya'll's opinion and rating?
This is a serious issue for me, because I can't just go to a, and I mean no offense for this stereotype, a Korean nail salon to get my feet taken care of (massage, nail clippings, sensual oils, etc., like I did before developing this shit while in service), but now I can only go to a Community Care Podiatrist who will yank the crap out of my nails with the 'Jaws of Life' to trim them, and give me some relief. This costs more out of pocket when not in current residency.
Would the VA, overall, take this into account my pain in their decision when rating?
Thank you,
