Can I keep my Gel-X extensions?

I got my first ever manicure and now it’s grown out a lot! Is there any way to keep my gel-x extensions when I get it removed at a nail salon? I don’t plan on reusing it, I would just like to keep them because they look so nice. If I can, would it cost extra to keep intact?
