In general, how do people get really good grades? Does anyone have any tips?
The second semester is ending in a couple of days for me and most of my grades are in low 80s to low 90s. I averaged out so far with a 3.3 GPA which is kind of bad because last semester I had 3.5 GPA. I go to a really competitive public high school so it’s really hard to stand out. Most people I know are just generally really smart at my school. My friend has all 90s but she says she doesn’t study for test. Yet I’m here struggling to get at least an 80, so I always feel stupid compared to my peers. I just feel burned out. I tried many study techniques such as active recall and pomodoro method but they never worked that well for me. I stay up late to study and still end up with bad grades. Sometimes I don’t have the discipline to do anything which causes me lose motivation but I try too.
