Partner rests head on baby when cosleeping
I’ll keep it short. Baby is 14 months old. when he was a newborn and sleep in our bed, sometimes my SO would hold the baby close. My SO deeep sleeps and is out like a light soon after getting into bed. however when sleeping hugging the baby invariably my SO big massive head would be resting on my little baby’s head :(
i caught this happen numerous times and each time I was deeply enraged and my stomach would actually churn. On top of that , my SO would get defensive and not even own up to the mistake . And so I’d feel slightly bad the next day. Our early newborn memories are tainted by these sorts of interactions . (Like when he gave our baby high protein flavoured yogurt just as we started the weaning journey).
guess this wasn’t brief.. anyway baby is 14 months old with a cold and in our bed. And what happens tonight? Partners big old head resting on the baby and his pillow case ends close to baby’s face. That deep rage returned. im justified right ??!
