Let's talk about it realistically.
I have a ps3 fat cechc04, according to the videos of rip felix and practically any other owner of a fat (for several years) the ps3 fat are practically time bombs that inevitably sooner or later will have a YLOD. Mine all in all runs well. I got it on vinted for 120€ with many games and the orifin Bluetooth remote I have a ps3 fat cechc04, according to the videos of rip felix and practically any other owner of a fat (for several years) the ps3 fat are practically time bombs that inevitably sooner or later will have a YLOD. Mine all in all runs well. I got it on vinted for 120€ with many games and the original Bluetooth remote control I changed the HDD by putting a 500gb one (not an SSD) and I immediately modded it by putting multiman and setting the fans to auto 60º. The RSX never reaches exorbitant temperatures, I leave it in a large space where it can breathe quietly and every 2 days I vacuum it (I don't open it, I simply suck the air from every crevice when it is completely off) and under the console I put 4 bottle caps for 360º airflow Now my question is, is there actually a way to prevent a YLOD without changing the thermal paste + Delid or even a frankie mod at all costs? Is it possible that Sony has made a console so badly made that it is destined to die? So far the console is not giving me any problems and when I turn it off I wait for it to turn off completely and then turn off the power via the switch on the back so it does not even consume the energy of the CMOS battery And also thanks to this I avoid sudden power surges due to sudden blackouts that can compromise the longevity of NEC tokins.
